Distribution
Music Distribution
Distribution is the core of GeetSuno. You upload a finished release once — audio, artwork and metadata — and we deliver it to supported digital service providers on your behalf. The workflow is built around the requirements stores actually enforce: correct artwork dimensions, clean audio, accurate contributor credits and a valid release date.
Because delivery is centralised, a single correction to your metadata can be pushed to every platform instead of being repeated store by store. That matters most when a release is rejected for a fixable reason and you need to re-deliver quickly without losing your original release date.
- Single upload, multi-platform delivery
- Audio and metadata quality checks
- Scheduled release dates
- Re-delivery after a correction
Before you submit
- 1. 3000 × 3000 px artwork, JPG or PNG
- 2. WAV or MP3 audio, studio quality
- 3. Correct artist and track names
- 4. Confirmation of rights ownership

Profiles
Artist Management
Most catalogue problems start with inconsistent artist names: the same act appearing as three separate profiles across platforms. Artist management in GeetSuno keeps one canonical spelling per artist, links every release to that profile, and stores the biography and imagery details you reuse on every submission.
For a solo artist this is housekeeping. For a growing act with features, remixes and multiple languages, it is the difference between a discography that compounds and one that fragments.
Catalogue
Label Management
Independent labels can group releases under a label name, keep artist rosters separate, and maintain consistent copyright and publishing lines across a catalogue. Label-level organisation also makes royalty reporting readable: you can see which imprint a release belongs to without rebuilding a spreadsheet.
Multiple-label and multi-artist structures depend on your account permissions and plan. If you are migrating an existing catalogue, our team can review the structure before you submit to avoid duplicate profiles on the store side.
Streaming reports arrive as platform exports with different date ranges and different definitions of a "stream". Our dashboard normalises those reports into one view: streams by track, by platform and by period, alongside catalogue activity such as new releases and profile updates.
The practical value is release planning. If a track is growing on one platform and flat on another, that is a signal about where to spend your next promotion budget — and which audience to target with the follow-up single.
Money
Earnings & Withdrawals
Reported revenue appears in your account as platforms publish their statements, which usually lags actual streaming by one to three months. When your balance meets the applicable threshold and your verification is complete, you can request a withdrawal.
Requests are typically processed within 5 to 7 business days. Payment methods, minimum thresholds and any withholding requirements depend on your country, your account type and the applicable payout policy.
Video platform
YouTube Music
YouTube is the largest music discovery surface in India, and it is also the most misunderstood. Album delivery puts your audio on YouTube Music as Art Tracks with correct artist attribution — separate from your own uploads, which remain under your channel.
When Art Tracks and your channel uploads live side by side, listeners find the official version first and your artist page stays clean. Combining both under an Official Artist Channel is handled separately (see below).
Rights
YouTube Content ID
Content ID matches your audio against videos uploaded by other people and lets you decide what happens when it matches: monetise, track or block. For original music that is regularly used in edits, covers or compilations, it is the most direct way to earn from user-generated content.
Content ID is not automatic. Eligible releases may be submitted after rights ownership verification, and approval depends on partner requirements. Releases containing uncleared samples, cover versions without the required licences, or third-party beats are usually ineligible.
Support
Copyright Claim Assistance
If a video of yours carries a claim you believe is wrong, we can review the claim details and help you prepare a removal or dispute request with the evidence the platform requires. We do not decide claims ourselves — the rights holder and the platform process do.
Come prepared with proof of ownership: project files, stems, registration details, or a prior release date. Requests without supporting evidence are rarely successful.
Profiles
Official Artist Channel
An Official Artist Channel combines your personal channel, your topic channel and your Art Tracks into one verified destination. Subscribers consolidate, the artist badge appears, and analytics improve because all activity lands in one place.
OAC requests are reviewed by YouTube against eligibility rules that include an existing release history and an active channel. We help you prepare a compliant request; approval remains entirely at YouTube's discretion.
Profiles
Spotify Artist Profile
Once your music is live on Spotify, you can claim the artist profile through Spotify for Artists. Claiming gives you control over the biography, profile image, header art, social links and — most importantly — the ability to pitch unreleased tracks to editorial playlists.
We guide you through the claim and verification steps. Profile edits, pitching and playlist decisions are made by you and by Spotify's editorial team, not by GeetSuno.
Social
Instagram Profile Linking
Linked releases appear in Instagram's music sticker library, which means fans can attach your track to Reels and Stories with the correct attribution and a link back to your profile. That is free distribution on the platform where most Indian listeners first hear a new song.
Linking depends on the release being live and correctly attributed on the platform side. Availability of specific tracks inside Instagram can change, and we cannot force a track into the library.
