Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This policy explains what information GeetSuno Music Group collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the services we provide to artists, labels and music businesses.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to deliver our services and respond to you:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number and the message you submit through our enquiry form.
- Account and artist information — verified artist or label identities, catalogue details and payment information you provide during onboarding.
- Release data — audio files, artwork, metadata, contributor credits and rights information submitted for distribution.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and cookies required for the site to function.
2. How we use your information
Your information is used to deliver releases to digital service providers, to process and report earnings, to verify identity where a platform requires it, to answer your enquiries, and to keep our services secure and functional. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your contact details with advertisers.
3. Sharing with service partners
To distribute music, certain data must be shared with the platforms and partners that deliver, catalogue and report on it. This typically includes artist and label names, release metadata, artwork and audio files. Payment providers and email service providers process data strictly to carry out the task they are engaged for.
4. Legal bases and consent
We process data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and where necessary for our legitimate interest in operating the service. When you submit the contact form, you consent to us using those details to respond to your enquiry.
5. Cookies
This website uses a small number of essential cookies — for example, a session cookie that powers form security. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may stop working.
6. Data retention
Enquiry messages are retained for as long as needed to resolve the request and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. Catalogue and royalty records are retained for the duration of the distribution agreement and for the period required by applicable accounting and tax rules.
7. Security
Access to account and catalogue data is restricted to staff and partners who need it. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and form submissions include protections against automated abuse. No system is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected users without undue delay.
8. Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, request deletion where we are not required to retain it, or withdraw consent for future contact. Write to support@geetsuno.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Children
Our services are intended for people who are legally able to enter into a distribution agreement. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The revision date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email.
