What Makes a Delivery Clean
Platforms reject releases for remarkably boring reasons. Most rejections come down to artwork, metadata or audio quality rather than the music itself. Getting these four things right the first time is the difference between a release that lands on schedule and one that slips a week.
-
Artwork — 3000 × 3000 px
Square JPG or PNG, no borders, no logos, no social handles, no pricing or promotional text. Song title and artist name only.
-
Audio — WAV or MP3
Studio-quality master, no clipped peaks, no watermarks or producer tags embedded in the file.
-
Metadata — consistent and complete
Exact artist spelling, contributor credits, language, genre and explicit flags. Small errors here create duplicate artist profiles.
-
Rights — ownership documented
You must own the masters and control the composition, or hold written permission. Samples and covers need clearance before submission.
ISRC & UPC codes
Each track needs a unique ISRC and each release a UPC. If you already own codes we use them; if not, we can generate them during setup so your catalogue stays traceable across stores.
Release dates and pre-saves
Submit at least two weeks before your target date. A scheduled release gives platforms time to approve artwork and lets you run a pre-save campaign while marketing is still warm.
Language and territory
Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and every other language your audience speaks — metadata language and release territories are set per release, not per account.
